Questions
Before you pull in
Do I need to bring my own landing gear pads?
Yes. Every driver parking a trailer must provide and use their own landing gear support pads. MidArk does not supply them. Please make sure you have the right equipment before you arrive at the facility.
How do I get through the gate?
Entry is through a private, camera-monitored gate that you open from the RigHut app with your own personalized access code. You use the app for both entry and exit — it opens the gate on the way in and on the way out. Once your booking is active you have 24/7 access.
Is the entrance lit at night?
Yes. The entry off the I-30 access road is lit, the drive back to the lot is lit, and the yard is lit as well, so you can get in and out safely after dark.
Are there restrooms and a place to throw out trash?
Yes. There is a portable toilet on site for drivers, plus a dumpster and trash cans in the yard.
How big are the spaces?
Semi-truck and trailer spaces are 14' × 75'. Covered spaces are 12' × 35' × 14'. There are also smaller spaces sized for RVs, boats and gooseneck trailers.
What booking lengths do you offer?
Daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual bookings are all available. Book anything from one night to a full year.
Can I get a specific, assigned space?
Yes — designated spaces are available on request for any booking of 30 days or longer.
Can I leave my personal vehicle here while I'm out on a run?
Yes. Plenty of drivers leave a personal vehicle in the yard while they're out on the road — just let us know so we know it belongs there.
Is the lot paved?
The yard is a fully gravelled lot, graded and maintained for heavy trucks and trailers year-round.
How close is the yard to the interstate?
MidArk sits directly off I-30 on the south side of the interstate. The closest exit is Exit 126 — Alexander / Hwy 111 — and you reach the yard using the I-30 east frontage road. It's roughly two miles from I-430, and QuikTrip, RoadRunner and Love's — with a diesel tech on site — are all within 1.5 miles.
